I am here. I am in hiding. (The government is monitoring my phone calls.)

These people mentioned here have lives! The rest of us don't - or at least I don't. It's 5:34 a.m. here in Malaysia and I'm wide awake and sitting at my computer, monitoring the board AND my PandasUnlimited board, too.

Well Chet, I believe my operative phrase was "when you can". It is of course up to all those people if they wish to return. I was simply stating that I missed their posts.

I'm more a passive participant than an active poster anyway in the JIMB, and therefore my sense of enjoyment comes from listening to all the voices out there, not just a few.

And yes, I have a life as well, but I choose to visit here a few times a day to listen to voices both far and away, with tears and laughter and joy and sadness all in flux.

It does something for the soul, does this place.

It is my weakness to form attachments to those disparate voices and wish (a human failing I know) for more. I don't regret that wish.

I guess I shouldn't be posting so early in the morning.

The bit about having a life - it was said in jest, Moe. Or did that get lost on the page?

Thanks for checking in, Ochiya. Good to hear you, though "government monitoring phone calls" doesn't sound pleasant at all!

Chet, I'm afraid it did get lost a bit. Speaking just for myself, I wasn't sure what to think of those words. But I'm glad it was said in jest :)

Hey Moe,

Perhaps this will help: How to minimize online conflicts (http://www.janisian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=611). If not, I'd be glad to lend you one of these:
