Just had to call 911 to come get my grandma....... she is at the ER with my mom and aunt at the moment and I am back here at the house cleaning up the mess .................I could not get her to respond to me, she lost her bowles she was convulsing, and had what I have heard to be the death rattle..... once getting at the ER she was consouis and breathing on her own and talking somewhat.................. will let you know what they find out once I know....... please forgive any miss spellings etc........... I still plan on going to see Janis tomorrow at the birchmere............ all rudie prayers and vibes needed..............she is 92 ............ thanks a milllion.....

From me, too, Jenny. Maybe it was just a simple seizure...let's hope she'll recover. Best to you, m'friend...we sure missed you at the Janic, but certainly understand...commitment to family comes first, always.

she is losing blood out her bowels as fast as they can get blood in her.... she is very sick says the dr... they also say it is cancer..her color has already changed.. I got to see her briefly.... I have a feeling she is going to go to sleep and not wake up........... which would be the best if it has to be..................I will update when I can...........

grandma is in ICU now, they put a port in her neck to keep from sticking her, they are trying to get her blood thickend. Will do a endoscopy and colonoscopy tomorrow, they might have to take her colon out..... as of 30 min ago she went into respertory distress, they gave her lazicks but isn't working fast enough, has fluid on her lungs and had to bypass something and has a mask on her....we are hoping she make it through the night..... so that is where things are for now....... keep the vibes coming..... however I think she is venturing into a better place .................I will keep you posted as I find things out...... thanks a million my friends........

grandma had gone into respirtory distress, and had fluid on her lungs.....and had her on oxygen..... spoke briefly to mom this morning and she was told this information and that at some point yesterday she had also had a heart attack......... haven't heard anything new yet this morning but will be going up there shortly......... will post any new info once I find out..........
it isn't looking good and wish she would just go to sleep and go to that better place and not suffer,,,,, I think she might be fighting it, although I KNOW she is ready and I just want her to be comfortable.... she is 92 and has lived a great life, seeing many things and been to many places.... I have lived through her stories and eyes from everything she has done and have been blessed to have been able to live with her now for 10 years, she is a very strong lady and hope she finds her peace soon...thanks for the well wishes and listening... more when I know........

sent you an email this morning...hope you were able to get some rest. You and your family have been in my constant prayers since we spoke on the phone yesterday. Take care of yourself...if you see your grandma today; you may wish to whisper to her that she has your permission to go...you have been her caretaker, companion and loving grandaughter and she may think she can't leave you. Let her know it's okay...Randy and I are here for you if we can be of any help....I will pick you up later on to head up to Randy's and then on to the Birchmere for the Janis concert but ONLY if you still want or feel like going. YOU and your FAMILY come first...I also understand that we too are family to you and it may be good for you to make the trip and let us care for you and build you up for what you may face in the coming days. Know we love you and we support you.... talk to you soon my friend.

Hello all Rudies,
I just spoke to Jenny on the telephone; she picked her Mom up and they are on the way to the hospital to be with her grandma. I will be picking Jenny up after noon to drive to the Birchmere for the Janis concert. She is looking forward to seeing all of you that will be there. I will be driving so Jenny will not be making the trip alone...will keep you all posted; she knows there is nothing she can do at this point that will change the course of her grandma's health so she is confident that Janis and the rudies are the best medicine for her right now. I know that each of you that care for Jenny are her strength right now; keep the prayers, hugs, love etc coming...that is what will get Jenny through what lies ahead. She will be in good hands with the rudies at the Birchmere and I'm sure, on a lighter note, if there is a set list or clothing article to be had, our girl will have hands on! Thanks for all you your support to Jenny at this difficult time.

went and said goodbye to my grandma..... she has been fighting it and it is just a matter of time and her letting go now........ hopefully hearing my voice gave her the comfort to rest, which is what I told her to do... to relax and go to sleep and rest............. I will miss her a great deal........ she is a fiesty womyn and continues to be till the end......... thanks everyone

Undoubetedly the letting go is hard, for both of you. Nonetheless, it is better than prolonging a life when it's time to go, as we all must do some day. Your grandma is 92 and she's had your love in action for years now. I'd say that a pretty good life.
My prayers for both of you as you go through this experience, and another big (((HUG))) for you.
