Request for board members

We have been dealing with Amazon.com snafu's since the book came out, with the accompanying CD. First they said the CD was unavailable, then that it was withdrawn, then that it was out of stock. We finally thought we'd gotten it straight, then they notified everyone who'd purchased it early that they couldn't ship because it was out of stock. We finally thought we'd gotten THAT straight - and I just checked, only to find that one was labelled "out of stock" and one "unavailable."
Here's my request. Can anyone with an Amazon account go there, review BOTH listed CD's and say that it IS available, it IS in stock, and they can always go to www.janisian.com (http://www.janisian.com) to buy it, along with the book, if Amazon can't fill the order?
I'd really appreciate it.
I can't believe these people... they were such a cool company when they began... we were among the first to shop there... back when they sent you mugs and scarves each Christmas in thanks...

I said bluntly that amazon was having distribution problems, so we'll see if it gets posted.

Sorry to know so many are having problems with their orders. Hearing this, I’m glad that I resisted ordering online and supported a local book shop instead. By doing so I somehow even got a copy of the book two days ahead of the scheduled Canadian release date. Hope they get this mess sorted out and soon!

I'll make it a point to do that. When I mentioned on my blog on my Myspace, I directed folks to http://www.bn.com only because of the member discount there. Mine shipped out on time from them thank goodness - makes me glad I decided to order from them instead of Amazon.

I do know, I'm going to probably tho the next time order via the store here, so I can give the book and 2 disc set as a gift to my mom, who was among the recipients of my quite a few purchases of the Up 'Til Now compilation :cool:

We can only see one listing for the CD at at this time on Amazon and it says unavailable. However if you click on the "11 used & new available from
$13.69" link we found that there are several other sellers out there who listed it as available. We posted a review with the above information in it. Let us know if there is anything else we can do.

After all the bother, both copies of the autobiography have dropped on my door mat, one from Amazon.com, despatched on 25 July, the other from Amazon.co.uk, despatched on 2 August.

Some great reading ahead...
