Hello all,

I'm a teacher on summer break--loving every minute--no make that every SECOND of it--after a first / second grade combo class--commuting
to the east bay everday-----UGH. I'm loving this time off...

there's been
no TV-except my sorry ass Giants- Kathy Griffin on Bravo and SportsCenter--

no newspapers--

no FuxNews------ok..... FOX

really
just chillin - going to the gym--I read GIRLS LIKE US-- THE ENTITLED by Frank Deford-- THE GIFT OF CHANGE by Marianne Williamson --playing me some pool--walks in Muir Woods--Ocean Beach and T.O.Tally loving Janis's auto bio--I'm up to page 114...I'm in no hurry.

--Janis and Jane Fonda get my prize for best autos!!!

ANYWAY
my hike-mate told me today that the Presidential polls right now are a dead heat.
I was flabergasted--is that true? After 8 years of Sulfur? America is still deciding, still thinking about an elephant?--there you go--Democracy at work

I then ran into this amazing song (which led to this very long-winded post)
--which i think is about this very thing...there is work to do!

I heard the election standings at this point were a dead heat also. Perhaps the upcoming conventions and debates will shift things.
