Who knew the travelling Rudies needed to be cautioned against setting off fire alarms? So now that that's been covered...careful of the heat, guys. Just looked @ the weather forecast & it's going to be sunny & hot. Be mindful of sunscreen (I lean toward a darker complexion and I always wear a 30 sunscreen) and keep yourselves cooled down. Come Monday we don't want to hear reports for blistered and heat-stroked Rudies.

Actually, the weather this morning (so far) is chilly and breezy -- LOVELY!!

The book-signing was fabulous, and the limo ride was, too!! Good crowd at the bookstore. I was brought to tears when Janis did her reading from a portion of the book I haven't reached, yet. Found out I wasn't the only one.

Dar has gone to get Peggy, Bat and I are sitting here drinking coffee, and Randy PA is probably somewhere wreaking havoc. I'm just sayin...

So good to be with old and new Rudie friends. Hoops looks great, and it's terrific to see Michelle and Rachel again. Gisli promptly went shopping to find clothing appropriate for a PA summer. Now MY white legs won't feel lonely. :p

I'm off in a few minutes for the BBQ location.

The Rudies....if you see them, either join them or stay far away. Do not give them money or matches. Feed them at your own risk.

There is no known repellent for Rudies, which, should they come to your town, you will realize is a very good thing indeed.

Actually it was Kathy (mrs. Redjack) and me on the way back who did something silly... :o We were following Redjack and Agnes and at some point we started wondering why Redjack had taken a certain exit. When we got closer we noticed we weren't following Redjack at all; we had been following the wrong car :o Oh well... we got there in the end. Although we did feel a bit silly :D

I don't think that's a sunburn, Song. During the volleyballmatch you and Caroline (Song's sister) did so many slidings that I guess that is where the redness on your skin comes from. Really, the skin will grow back... :rolleyes:
