We're all different, Mike--that's what keeps life interesting! And anyone who is fortunate enough to have friendships that last for 40 years are more....that's "different" in a decidedly good way. Just keep on doing what you're doing, Mike.

Hi Mike & Joy....
Well for the record I've been called far worse things then different... I don't mind though... We all live our lives and make of it what it is.... and as Dave said "we're all different" ... Just a few of us are differentER then others... Yes I'm referring to Redjack, Eva and the rest of our band of Pirates.... Mike you may be different but your certainly different in a classy and quality way...
Best to all

Nothing wrong with being different, Mike. Often people are scared of 'different', but having friends around for such a long time says way more about you than people telling you you're different. It's not their words that make you as true as you are. That's you, Saxman :)

I think Mike would make a great pirate....big guy with a big beard would cut a fearsome figure indeed as we close in on our prey....
Mike, I am considered to be 'different' by a lot of people. Not just by PA Randy :p Nothing wrong with that. I tend to look at myself as 'special' rather than 'different'. And then I look around and see that everyone is different and therefor special. How cool is that!?
And it's wonderful that you have friends for such a long time. After all these years of changing lives and changing references you still care about eachother and you still have something to talk about together. I think that is beautiful.

I don't know about having you on the piratevessel though. You might look fierce with your beard and all. But I'm afraid you'll only want to hug our 'prey' and make music together... ;) :)

Thank goodness for being different! Since we are herd animals, it's vital that someone pokes their head up from the flock once in a while.

Surely every now and then we'll have to have a pirate Living Room Concert. Or would that be a Poop Deck Performance? Gotta have huggers around for those....
