What a terrible tragedy, Mike...it seems like the river rose dramatically for about a half hour window, just in time to catch the river travelers...a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, lamentable.

A tragedy in the truest sense....and conspicuously absent from American news media, which, nonetheless, has plenty of time to speculate about which celebrity might be pregnant. I'm not sure which tragedy to regard as more disturbing.....yours or ours.

.........I didn't reply, becouse I was so.......busy!
The group, teen-agers, were on the middle of the North Island, on a visit....but there are from Howick, from the east side of Auckland! We are from the west side, about 30 miles on the west side. The were from a "Christian" group, and I am not a Christian at all, but I feel so sory for the family, and friends.
Songdragon.....I know that you are failly young...(20?)...and I'm pretty sure that you could understand it verry much!
