Chet was kind enough to give us the live Panda Cam!
Now, if any of you are interested, this is a live Eagle cam in Maine, USA, where three eaglets have been hatched.

Eagles are cool. Reminds me of the ones on the lake in New Hampshire where I spend parts of my summer.

Denise, I have really enjoyed this site, and have followed the eaglets (sp?)maturation from fuzzy-headed balls of fluff to juveniles eager to stretch their wings. I've been fortunate enough to witness quite a few feedings and I'm always rooting for the smaller one to get in there and get him (her) some. The smaller one is entertaining to watch as it seems to be the most eager to take flight, while the larger sibling seems content to perch on the edge of the nest and look imposing. During this afternoon's feeding, I distinctly heard a gunshot - the eagles heard it too and all turned to look in the direction of the sound - quite an unsettling intrusion! I haven't been able to watch the loons yet - I suspect they spend a great deal of time swimming and feeding. Any way, just wanted to say thanks again! :)

Wow, thanks for the link. At one time ,I volunteered at a raptor rehab center, played catch-very carefully- with a bald eagle using dead leaves. I would hold them above his head, let them go and he would catch them.
He seemed to enjoy it and sometimes this would go on for a while until he didn't want to play any more. I felt that he must be bored as hell sitting on that perch all day long.
Again, thanks for a wonderful link.:)
