Thanks for the welcomes. I've been lurking around the board for awhile and it's easy to see you are OK folks...crazy but that's good, right? I moved to Hilton Head, SC from Chicago about 18 months ago (bless my heart). I'm a retired middle school teacher but I still work with teachers, do some writing, music, and take major time to sit on my butt and read. I heard Janis for the first time in decades last January at Rodi in NC.

Welcome JoanM! Yes bless your heart for teaching all those years! I left teaching to work for a large N. Chicago Pharmaceutical Co. and then back to school for nursing. So I won't retire 'till I'm 70 or dead.

A Scottish Welcome, Joan.... I've been extra busy these past few months and haven't had time to post much so I may have missed something vital, but things are settling down again (at least til the end of the week!) and I have a few days to spare. Joining the Message Board makes you a TRUE Rudie whether or not you have seen Janis once or a hundred times. I'm just glad I got caught before it was too late..... :eek:
