Today, Saturday, 6 May 2006, she'll be enthralling her audience at The Coliseum in Aberdare, UK!

I think chris h will be there. Anyone else?

Can't say that I'll be there except in spirit.

Does the position of official puppy come with food and lodging? If they ever decide to put the puppy down I'm first in line for the job. I can play fetch, roll over and I've got a good bite so as you can see my resume makes me a perfect candidate. I'm available for an interview anytime. Just send me an airline ticket and I'll be there. I wonder if they have chew toys on the plane. Well at least they have ice.

Can you scratch behind your ear with your foot? I bet David can...

We are NOT putting the puppy down! I repeat... NOT, NEVER, NO, NJET, NEM, NEIN, NON putting the puppy down! I'll protect you against that Canadian, David!

Hey. I'm happy to simply wait my turn. Wagging my tail and holding a stick in my teeth. I just tried and the scratching behind the ear thing.... no can do. I think I hurt my back. And don't worry. Canadians are supposed to be too polite to be a threat, too stoned to care, and too busy arranging marriages for all the couples that have to escape other countries in which they cannot get hitched.

Surely wherever Janis is, Carmen Sandiego cannot be far behind.

Nah, I think Janis Ian and Carmen Sandiego move in very different circles.

Two intelligent women who went very different ways DaveM. I beat that computer game, but I never really wanted to put her in jail. She stole all the neatest stuff.

I wish I was over there watching Janis in the UK. Only in spirit...

Puppy, kitten - whatever. That eva's got a quick wit. Good luck being charmed back to your 'natural' state. I only wish I made the qualifying interview... if only I could scratch behind my ears.

Hi Chet just to let you know Janis was as fantastic as ever. A few problems with the sound, but nothing could stop Janis having us worship at her feet. The audience gave her a rapturious welcome. As always it was good to chat to her after the performance. I am just sorry I cannot make any more. Good to meet you at the LRC on the 16th Hope you are well chris h

Hi chris h!

Are you the one I talked kdlang with at The Stable one evening? I met so many people at the LRC and even tho I was introduced to most, I'm getting very bad wtih remembering names with faces at my age.

I'm well here. Already making plans for my next "see Janis in person" trip.

Hi Chet, sorry, it wasn't me you discussed KD with. Though I do like some of her music, and have seen her about 4 times. She is good in her own way, however no one could ever surpass Janis for me. Have you got the DVD of the LRC? when you play it I am the one on left of Janis, looking like Dopey out of Snow White!! All the best chris h

Hi chris h

Yes, I know who you are now. According to my supplier ( :D ), my LRC DVD is on its way. This is one of the downsides of living so faraway from where the Janis action is - everything takes longer to happen for me where she is concerned. :(

We're in Milton Keynes, or rather, just past it... after spending 10-4.30 on the road and sitting in London traffic.
No days off, Chet...

Chet

Day off as in no concert.

Sorry, didn't make myself clear.
