The email I received from Noel's sister makes my day!
"marcia, i jsut got back from seeing her. were hoping shes out by easter but no official word yet. she is feeling better now thank God. She is also eating regular food although shes very careful. Her medications i think are back to where they need to be. This was the first visit ive had where she wasnt lying in bed and i felt comfortable enough to stay for a while without feeling like she needed rest. Im hoping it stays this way. Hope all is well and happy st pattys day."
Let's light candles and send Rudie vibes that Noel will be spending Easter at home in her OWN bed!!

Awesome, that's the best news we''ve had to date. Maybe just having Janis in the Northeast was good medicine. I know it was for me.
A great big thanks Marcia!

Delighted to hear this wonderful news. Just got back from my daughter's wedding, and this is nice to hear. Keep up the good work, Noel, and surely we'll be in touch soon. :)
Hugs Annabel
Thanks, Marcia. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k267/deemark/Emoticons/smile.jpg Very encouraging to know she's eating proper food again. She must be so relieved about that.
Let's all do a happy dance!

It won't be long now!!! :D
Everyone ready for a Rudie Ride soon? I've been exercising my gas pedal foot every day.
Thanks, Marcia!
Let's clean the bus, guys. That way we can get on and driiiiiiive!

Go Hoops, go! I guess it's time to send the "package". I'll include the original key to the bus; not that she needs a key. It's pretty, and old. Anybody got an extra JI keychain to go with it? I'm still on my first one, although the little balls are starting to discorporate. I gave my new one away. Love, E Going to light a candle or five.

There is no WAY Noel will be able to catch up with all she has missed on the board. But I think if she looks at even a little of this, she'll see just how well she is thought of! Thanks everyone. Let's keep on lighting the candles and sending the vibes for a complete recovery!!

Ha! You mean the sidewalks, airways, and all bodies of water. Who uses streets?

Ok, maybe I should of just said... MAKE WAY!
Ok, maybe I should of just said... MAKE WAY!
Good idea. Hoops and Sister_Rose are reckless drivers and only use one pair of glasses together. Usually they are searching for the glasses while they are driving. I miss their driving... :( I'm a thrillseeker. What can I say... :)

Eva,
Actually...we don't remember who had them last, so, they are sort of lost...which means we won't be using glasses this trip....hope that's not a problem. ;) *squints to see keyboard*
As soon as hoops gets back we are on the 'road' again!
Hey....do you suppose Janis and Pat will be away........?????

hahahahahahahaha........................
Mary6906...fyi...I'm the calm driver... and I believe the original Rudie bus driver and holder of the keys...hmmm...i am getting old though and could be mistaken. Sometime, a while back, I believe I passed the honor on to sister_rose and hoops I think... hate these brain farts... lol
and I believe sister_rose means she taught me the reckless ways of driving! LOL!
However, I am always more than happy to just be a passenger on the wild Rudie bus trips, since I do this daily!!!
So, if you're on the bus while sister_rose or hoops are behind the wheel....watch out! Like Eva said.. she's a thrillseeker.... and yes, there will be thrills!
As you can see...hoops....we really miss ya!

I'm the one easy to find on the bus... Just look up at the exterior roof rack....
Oh and if you don't like the way Sister Rose and Hoops drive just be careful and stay off the sidewalks....
Best

Randy, if you're really good, we'll get you a seat belt. Or at least a strap to hang onto.
Hell, that's better than I get! I have to flap like mad just to keep up...and keep out of the way!!
You are right, Denise. You were the original Rudiebus driver. In the old days when it was still safe on the sidewalks :D
Oh Bat, we'll tie you to the bus with one leg. Then you don't have to flap that hard. Okay?
Eva

Don't Bats like to hang upside down? Maybe we can build a perch for you to hang off the bus with, maybe with a little chain you can put around your leg just to keep you secure!! :D

Of course. Just to keep you secure, Bat... And me amused :D
Eva
I'm glad you're thinking of my welfare, gals, but I don't know about the chain!
That might amuse Eva, but I think I'll just take the little perch to hang from; maybe a soft little bag to hang out in would be nice...see what you can do, OK?

Here you go, Bat... your very own black velvet bag to rest in!
http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg317/Mary6906/SmVelvetBag.jpg
Ah, Mary, you're a girl after my own heart! That is just perfect! Nice and soft, snuggly, with built-in blackout features so I can get my beauty hang.
Now, we have to figure out how to hang it upside down, and perhaps remove that constricting drawstring....yep, it'll be just perfect! :D

That's easy! I'll just drive upside down.

But that'll mean....Kath will end up playing guitar rightside up again.
Is it easier to set the Rudie Bus upside down around the time of the Solstice?

Do you think the bus will ever reach down under, and if so will it have to drive upside down for the whole trip around Oz and NZ?
I should think that would be an automatic, Wendy! We always drive upside down in OZ, don't we!?
Sister Rose, do you mean to say you'll stand on your head to drive the bus, or had you planned to put the wheels on the roof?
Please explain.
DaveM, I think the Solstice would also be an automatic, except that in Spring we would be right side up...or do I have it backward? (NO, don't drive backward!!)
I think it would suit Kath much better if I just put the bag upside down...save a lot of trouble all around. Much easier to fly up into and do my little flip so I'm gripping with my toes at the top...smooth move, if I do say so myself!
