A bit of good news

I know I said I wouldn't do another post about my eye injury, but I am so pleased by this I just wanted to share: They had questioned whether the orbital implant would work because of badly damaged eye muscles BUT it is now tracking with my real eye. That means that once I get the prosthetic eye in that my eye movements for both eyes will appear normal. Vanity is still alive and well so I am pleased by that development!

However, I don't think my response to my situation so extraordinary...we do what we have to do. Like I have told people: When you get knocked down you can do one of two things - you can roll around on the ground and stay there or you can get up, say "damn that hurt" and carry on...very few of us find the view from the ground that interesting, I think.
