Thought people working in offices could relate to this :D
Annabel
Oh I can SOOOOOO relate to this, Annebel  :D
The most interesting thing though is the other people who try to act as if nothing out of the ordinary is happening

I love the bit with the phone and bubble wrap lol
And the guy who gets all the paper airplanes in his neck, tosses his screen to the other guy and resumes tapping his keyboard :D

My evil twin Skippy loves this video. He's been playing it over and over!

Hasn't everyone wanted to do at least one of these things at least once in their lifetime? I tend to every time I have to deal with civil servants.
I love it when a grown man throws a tantrum like a two-year-old.
(I see Anger Management courses on their horizons.)
You're right Dee. Then again, I sometimes feel like doing just that.

Don't get me wrong Eva, it's not like I haven't FELT like doing something similar when my computer has frustrated me to the max. I certainly have, but I’m wondering now if these little psycho episodes were genuine or merely staged. It's hard to imagine anyone actually DOING this kind of violence, especially in an office setting. I mean, who brings a sledge hammer to the office?
(Never mind. I don’t wanna know.)

The number of times I have wanted to do unspeakable things like on the video to that old and slow computer in the AfA Office when typing up boring stuff and I have to look up something online is countless. Now (at last) I have the use of a smooth-running new laptop (which is teaching me about Vista - what I (they) can do with it and what I can't do with it. The only thing to say here, is at last the old computer is behaving itself in its abandoned state. I think it regrets its tantrums.... and is sorry for annoying me. I in turn have learned some patience.... :p

Maybe, maybe. But it does make for an amusing film :D

I was wondering about the sledgehammer myself. I mean, do they have one in a glass case with "In Case Of Nervous Breakdown, Break Glass"? Did the guy keep one in his car? Would love to know the story behind it.
A follow-up on what happened to the disgruntled employees might be interesting as well.

It certainly does.
The boyfriend Jimmy was here for lunch today, so I played it for him while I took to the kitchen. I think he nearly peed his pants laughing too. Still, I wouldn’t want to have to work with any of those hotheads. Can you imagine?

The person who site directly to my right in the cube farm that is my office building is ALWAYS on the phone bitching and complaining about how she's the only one in her department who does anything right and thie and that and the other thing for hours and hours on end....and she's the newest member of the department...
So, I can relate to the guy who got up and ripped the phone out of the woman's hand and smashed it. I honestly don't know how I restrain myself sometimes...If I didn't have my iPod and really good earphones I think I'd go absolutely f*%&ing mad!!!
Her cube is such a disgusting mess too...Myself and the two others closest to her finally had to complain to our respective managers about her keeping leftover food in her cube...the smell and the possibility of bugs with all the books and paper we have to use to proof our products....just gross. I can't even look at it it just upsets my sense of order. I don't know how anyone can work in such chaos...
I could go on but you get the idea....

I love the guy who throws the computer display over the divider after someone was bugging him with paper airplanes :)
