I will be dressed up in full gear as the female version Sir Noze de void of Funk - my own creation, "Lady Nosetta"!

Lady Nosetta! Love it! Shame the mothership isn't swinging low near pittsburgh anytime soon.. Though i am tempted to come to the fillmore just to see your get-up! I leave it to you my sistah in funk, to represent for the rudie contigent making the mothership connection.

Thanks GodSistah! I can't believe he's not coming here, it seems like no matter how small the tour, he ususally plays the Quest in Mpls. (a club Prince formerly owned). But who knows (nose), maybe he'll swing through on his way back from England. Does anyone know the status of his health? Sadly, i'd heard lately it was not good, but with the tour announcement I'm guessing he's okay.

Although I would love to! Like everything else in home-grown American music [ie: Blues and Jazz] the Funk is not truly appreciated in America the way it is in Europe and other places abroad! I have heard of wild P-Funk concerts in Europe where the people in the crowd are as colorful and entertaining as the people on stage. Aaaahhh, what fun!

And after seeing your pirate get up, Eva, I have no doubt that you have a rightful place in the P-Funk mob! ;)

I will be going on July 3 and meet my collegue there. Her hair is so blond that it's almost white. We recognise her from afar in a crowd. When we need a place to gather we say something like: "I'll be where the blond girl is at 10 pm". Usually we find eachother easily then... :D
