Anyone have any idea why I can't post on this message board using Internet Explorer 7? I log in and it says, "Welcome Roady" and shows my name with the "members online" but when I go to post it says I don't have permission. Gee I thought at first I got the boot.

I can post using Firefox.

Sounds like a miracle to me, Barb. I didn't have any problems when I started using IE7 some time last year.
Let's wait what our experts say!

Problem free in IE 7 on Vista and XP here. But then, I have my Pop Up Blocker turned OFF. Try that!

Edit to add: Thanks Amy, looks like that'll work for now.

I had the same problem when I registered for this board. It showed my name as online but when I went to post it said I didn't have permission, too. But I never got a confirmation email that I was supposed to respond to, but the good old Webmaster fixed me up!!!

The only problem I still have is when I get alert-type (vBulletin) messages from the board I can't read the black text in the gray boxes. I have to copy/paste it into Word or something else to read what the message said..... I'm using Safari on the Mac, so I'm not sure if I use a different browser like FireFox I wouldn't have that problem. On my PC at work using Internet Explorer I have no problem, home I do.

Ditto here-took several weeks to the point I was wondering, "gee how do they know I flunked music in the 7th grade?" :D But I should have known as I've run a message board for years and registrants have to be approved manually. When I worked at home I did it every day but now sometimes they just have to wait a while. Wish I knew of a better system but if you want to keep the forum http://users.net1plus.com/baw/spam2.JPG free, registration can't be instantaneous. Or maybe it can, but I don't know how.

A nights sleep is an elusive goal when one has a frozen shoulder.
