We got this cat (as a tiny kitten) when Hilary, my Schnauzer, was about 2. She was so very intrigued with the baby thing, but didn't know whether to love it, use it as a toy or eat ehr for lunch. The first few nights, I had to sleep with the darn dog on a leash. Eventually they became the very best of friends. Unfortunately, the friendship ended when my ex moved out, with Sophie, the cat, in tow.

Very cuki (= sweet), David! :D

I am glad to see pics like these on a Hungarian site. I think in general animals don't get treated very well in Hungary. This is good. Thank you for posting it.

I thought of having a dog for a while and thought of one of the Hungarian races. I think the mudi is beautiful. Although it is a real sheparddog and they probably need a stricter master than I can be...

I had a collie some ages ago which formed the exact same relationship with a kitten. The kitten would rub up against him trying to find some way to nurse and the dog just looked on patiently. I had a photo of it sleeping on the dog's back but have no idea what happened to it. They ate from the same dish and were quite inseparable. Collies are so laid-back....I miss him.

The Current Occupant, big ol' cat Junior, does not want any other animal within 10 feet of him. People, fortunately, are not usually a problem. But let a dog run through the yard and he'll be hanging from the window screen by his claws trying to get at it.

I understood dear Max (my ex's dog) only wants to play with every animal he encounters. Cats included. Usually cats don't really understand that and they will hiss at him. He just stands there looking confused like thinking: "What's the matter with you? I only want to play. Don't you?" He is only afraid of humans and really aggressive big dogs. But he usually outruns both :D

After seeing those pups, Eva, I can believe it!...or maybe a tiger, as they mention in the article (the only word I could pick out! LOL)
