View Full Version : Goodbye for now - thread
Sometimes we log off to go to sleep, get the children out of a tree, etc. And other people think we are still on here. They can see in the 'who is online' section of course. But I thought a 'goodbye' thread was nice. It's so much more polite to say goodbye when leaving, right? This thread will probably end up in a foodthread. But who cares?
I was on here because I couldn't sleep. Well, I couldn't sleep because I was hungry (there we go... ) So I ate some cheese. And some muesli with yoghurt. And some more cheese. And now it's almost three a.m. and I will go back to bed. I need to get up at 7.30 so...
Goodbye for now! *waves*

wow, you must NOT be lactose intolerant, that would totally mess up my stomach lol
You have a good night and get some sleep :o)
Chris
Good night, Eva! I hope your dreams are kinder to you than you deserve, with putting all that into your stomach to sleep on! Not exactly the way to lose weight, kiddo...but better than going to bed hungry.

So, are you still awake? When I was in college I had a friend who would stay up all night on Wednesday to catch up on everything that needed to be done. Everything from laundry to bill paying or writing a paper for school. She was a nut and lots of fun to be around. We found each other several years ago, and I reminded her that she used to "do that". She laughed and admitted that she still does. Even with a husband and two kids and a full-time job she feels she needs the extra hours to get everything done. I have a hard time sleeping and take a sleeping pill every night. I'm an Ambian man. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. I can't listen to Janis while trying to sleep because I enjoy the music so much, and she makes me think, or cry, or laugh or feel every emotion known to mankind.... not condusive to sleep. If I can't fall asleep by three or four in the morning I just start my day and hope to sleep the next night. If you have ever gone several days without sleep, believe me, you don't want to. My mother (the coolest mom in the world, may she rest in peace) always thought that having a snack before bed was a good way to fall asleep. I hate the thought of eating and then trying to sleep. And by the way, I have read and tried every trick in the world to sleep, including seeing doctors and taking suppliments, self-hypnosis, meditation, prayer and everything else one can do, even wearing sunglasses before bed. So Eva, if reading this doesn't put you to sleep you might as well get up and clean out your closet. I'm sending rudie sleep vibes your way.... sweet dreams.

DINGDINGDINGDINGDING! Almost time to get up, sweetie! :D Yeah, I know I'm a bit early ;) I'll leave in ten minutes, so this really was my only chance to wake you... (HUG)
Agnes, you are a sadist. Did anyone tell you that? :D
I slept very well that night by the way. Happy that the rumbling sounds in my stomache were over. And I hadn't eaten all that much actually. Just two kinds.
Okay, leaving again because I'm at work.
Hugs all around,
Eva

Well, you did... :D Thought you might like it, though waking you up that hour of day isn't playing in your book, is it? :p

Bah, you wouldn't like me if I weren't crazy :D Or at least, you wouldn't understand me :p

There are points in favor of being crazy--depending on what means by "crazy".
Or of course if one is wealthy enough to be "eccentric".

Well I slept in this morning until the glorious hour of 1030! A real treat when you are up at 0430 on weekdays. I used the excuse of fighting off a head cold for my slothfulness. I am now going to retire to the sauna for an extended steam for my sinuses - so - goodbye for now.

All of my best friends are a little nutty, Agnes. It's a requirement! :p
I have a refrigerator (sp?) magnet and it says "normal people worry me".
I think that says it all... ;)
Eva
Normal?
Oh you mean those boring people. :p

Yeah, 'normal' translate as 'average', right? Which to me translates as 'not passionate about anything'. I like passion.
