Lovely stuff, as long as you don't have to shovel it. In a shovel-free atmosphere, snow is glorious in every way.

No shovelling for me Dave, that's why I pay rent (well, not the only reason). ;)

You're lucky, Minneapolis has looked like that for most of December already. I don't mind the snow, but it does tend to keep temperatures low/below normal. I thought with all the el ninos' and whatnot, that we were going to stick to our warmer than average winters here, I need to wake up right?;)

Those are breathtaking!!
We in Tennessee do appreciate the

But when we do have it melts and freezes and melts a really big mess, but, it sure looks beautiful for a while.

I thought it was important to record the snow while it still looks like snow, Darlene. They are forecasting rain (of all things) on the weekend and 6°C on Saturday. It'll make for a mushy mess no doubt.
