the CD drive on my main laptop died a year ago but I wasn't worried as I could use my other laptop for copying cds and dvds...
but now the CD drive on that one seems to have given up the ghost.
I have heard of people solving problems like this by restoring the machine to manufacturers' ' factory settings....
could this maybe help, and if so how do I go about it?
