I do the crossword puzzle in the Boston Globe every day (on line). Here's a screen shot from today's puzzle:

Yep. They say you're famous if you make a national Crossword puzzle, so, Janis, You've Made It!.
I did that one last night, and was suffused in a warm glow at the answer.

Cool  Maybe we should write in and ask the Globe to create an entire puzzle with a Janis theme. They created one on marriage proposals so a guy could propose to his girlfriend. Actually a cute story: Clued In-A marriage proposal inside a crossword puzzle yields the correct answer: Yes! (http://www.boston.com/news/globe/magazine/articles/2007/09/24/clued_in/)
Thanks for sharing that Amy.

My mom always tells me when Janis pops up in her crosswords too! It's always very cool!
Thanks for sharing, Amy

Then we should revive this tradition, Kathleen. It will test ALL our knowledge.....  and see just how much we have (or haven't) learned during the year.... :D

I think you are pulling my leg Kathleen. If you can't do it no one can!!!
I agree, it would be way cool to have the return of the Janis' Crossword Puzzle.

Kathleen's memory is good, Roady. But I only ever did one - several years ago!
The puzzle's still online for anyone who wants to try it: click here (http://www.aftertones.flyer.co.uk/cw.html).
And if and when you need the solution (Moe solved it first!), then here it is! (http://www.aftertones.flyer.co.uk/cws.html)

Thanks MikeUK...I'm a Xword puzzle addict, so will enjoy solving that one, I'm sure. I'll also be grateful for the answer page, no doubt.
I think I'll find this quite difficult, as I am more used to the American layout with more crosswords to clue on, and find the British format much harder.
