I just wanted to say a big big thank you to all you Dutch Rudies for making Anne and myself feel so very welcome in the Netherlands- as Anne has said in another post, we really felt we had known you all for years (but doesn't that always happen with rudies??
after the concert I travelled back to Nijmegen to stay with Marjan and her cats (I made one particular friend there- apparently the shyest of the 3)
Marjan and I couldn't sleep so we sat up watching Janis dvds till 3.30am !
Next day we made it over to Utrecht on the train and spent the afternoon/evening at my lil sister Agnes's place. Margay also arrived, and making a late diva-like appearance, so did the Pirate Queen herself..... such a lovely lady for mean pirate:eek:
My last memory is at 6am this morning sitting sideways across the back of Agnes's bicylcle as she sped through the streets and I dragged my little suitcase behind me on the cobbles..... that must have been some sight- one drunken man even wished us "Happy Holidays!":p
