Well Jenny you are not the only one........I smell strongly of cabbage......must be because of that thing inside my head:o
The time here now is 8.30 in the morning how long, I wonder, does one have to wait:confused: It is not good for my reputation to be up this early.

It was 11:30 Eastern Time, so I closed my eyes for a minute waiting for midnight. Damn it's almost 4:30 am! I fell asleep and missed the start of the sale. Oh ****, looks like I can't even figure out the date, never mind the time zone.
So it's tonight, right????
The sale doesn't begin till this evening at 6 pm (CST), Roady, so you can relax now. :)

I will be sitting in front of Kathy Mattea at the same time the sale starts....I have had these tickets for months, now I will be missing the start of the xmas blowout sale...... if only I had a lap top I could shop while being at the concert..... Hopefully something will be left when I get in around midnight....... NOW I am very very very sad, I have NEVER missed the start of the sale... after today, I can't say that anymore.... ;-( ;-( ;-(
Jenny

Could someone tell me how many minutes more I have to wait?????? Feel kind of stupid sitting here looking at the screen and picking my nose......think I´ve made a hole in it.....

Nashville,
Tennessee
is in the
Central Time Zone
The sale goes online at 6 pm, so there is 9 hours and 12 mins to go. (I think.)
And stop picking your nose. Your head will cave in!

I have to say that for some stupid reason (my brain) I had it in my head that the sale would start for me Friday night. Thanks Jenny, for asking. I can't wait for the store to open. I keep checking to see if it already is; knowing that it's not. Why? I have everything already. I WANT MORE! And every year I want everything new, even if I already have it. I just like knowing that Janis touched it. I want to read her autobiography now; I don't want to wait. Is there some reason we can't help her edit the book; proof read? For a donation to the Pearl Foundation? I'm not rich, but I could scrape up a lot for a chance to get a first look. And it's not like I'm not going to buy lots of copies when it hits the book stores. And it won't be an accident that her book will always wind up at the front of any section of any store I'm visiting. How much to get to get a sneak peek?
Take a deep breath, Elliott. It'll be available before you know it. ;)

Thank you Dee. I'm better now.
Repeat after me, Elliott:
Calm blue sea . . . calm blue sea . . . calm blue sea . . . calm blue sea . . . calm blue sea . . .
The waiting will only make them more enjoyable once they arrive, both book and Blowout Sale! http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k267/deemark/Emoticons/applause.gif

Elliott, your post is like spoken from my heart.
Thanks Dee for the time-info and for the laugh..........actually the time differance is way to much for me to agree with, so I suggest you just open the shop............now.........please....so Jenny can buy before she goes to see Kathy Mattea. Dee´s breathing tecnic doesn´t work for me......but I am only thinking of Jenny´s intrests..of course.....I am no shellfish either.....
Now, now lads. Patience is a virtue they say (whoever “they” are). Don’t forget that Janis is still recovering from major neck surgery. We don’t want to have a relapse and end up in the hospital again from overdoing it.
Tick tock tick tock tick tock . . .
2 hours 52 minutes till the doors open.
Well, think of it this way:
The sun rises in the East.
England (Greenwich) is East of us by 5 hours...the sun rises there first.
So when it is 7am in England, it is still midnight here.
When it is noon here, it is 5pm in England.
It's a moot point anyway, because I think the store is open all over the world by now! Happy Shopping, everyone!!;)
Anything to do with math and I blank out.
I had to resort to this handy dandy clock (http://wwp.central-standard-time.com/) to get my info for the current Central Standard Time.
It's like watching paint dry.
2 hours 30 minutes to go! :D
Yep...and I was thinking 24 hours ahead of time...12 midnight in England is definitely 7pm here, and we still have to wait a few. Drat.
