Please people,

Give Dee a break...

I asked him to manage this game. There are several reasons for that. One important one being that I don't have time to do it myself. Because it does take a lot of time. Think about it: keeping track of the list, matching up people twice (once as Santa and once as receiver of the gift) PM-ing everyone on the list with who their matches are. Then managing everything that comes back in and put in on the MB. Oh yes, and not mixing things and people up because that would ruin people's fun in the game bigtime.

Especially that last one gets more difficult as there are more people playing. So Dee should make it as easy as possible for himself. Herding cats should be a paying job you know, it's not his hobby  That's why we have come up with some simple rules for the players. One of them being to put your name in the list the way Dee asked you to: on top of the other names. Also, Dee has asked people not to muddle the thread with conversation. Because that is very confusing and not the point of the game.So please don't.

If you want to say or ask something about the game or why Dee and I have decided to things the way we do it; do it in this thread. Not in the thread where the names are.

Please work with us. We want this game to be fun and not aggrevation for Dee or anybody else involved. Thanks.

Just came back on board and it was the first thing I read. I was very confused. Sorry Dee. I didn't mean to rock the boat! Thanks for heading this thing up and I want to play too!

Peace, Darlene

"Herding cats." :p

I would also like to repeat another rather necessary point:

I’ll need to be able to contact each of you by PM after the list closes on Dec 12 to tell you the name of the person you are choosing your gift for. So please make sure private messaging is enabled in your account and that there is space left in your Inbox, because ...

If I’m unable to reach you or don’t get a reply within a week or so, (definitely before Dec 24), it won’t be possible to keep you in the game in a timely manner, and that wouldn't be fair to everyone playing.

Please work with us. We want this game to be fun and not aggrevation for Dee or anybody else involved. Thanks.

Definitely!

Rudies eat more.

This clearly depends from the cat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion#Hunting_and_diet

I stand corrected :D Although I think a Rudie Dar might be able to give a Lion a run for the money in the consumption department.

Haven't seen it yet but I can imagine - after all I heard! :D Poor lion! Fortunately lions aren't alone most of the time...;)
