If you click on the arrow twice you'll hear Janis singing "Today You are Mine" but I think the short clip is an ad for JT (Japan Tobacco).

I remember looking for this song but don't recall if I found it and posted it so that is why your idea to have them all in one place is great-for old people like me.

Should we put up? It could be in the advertising section, many of her songs must have been used in commercials.

I think it is an ad against littering cigarette ends? It has something to do with litter, I'm sure.

I do believe you are correct Anna, and more specifically, advertising the little cases to put cigarette butts into instead of pitching them on the ground. An attempt to show how trendy the little cases are as well I think, everyone carrying them in fancy little pouches.

PS: Yes, it is. I just paused the opening message and it says:

"I tossed away my cigarette butt into the drain. In effect, I was making sure it couldn’t be picked up."

very interesting little advert there. don;t know whether it is good cause it'll keep people from littering or bad cause it promotes smoking lol. interesting use of a song tho.

Anna is right about the ad. Looks like JT likes to use follk songs in their TV ads: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Lyg-tMt9ew&feature=related

I wonder if they can advertise cigarettes in Japan? Cute llittle cases but I suspect their goal may have more to do with ciagarette sales than selling nifty ciagrette purses. The company is also involvoed in pharmaceutical and foods but most of their money comes from tobacco. JT Sales (http://www.jti.co.jp/JTI_E/outline/zaimu.html)

I absolutely love 'Today You're Mine' but prefer it as a straight song on The Ultimate Best...... I'm not sure I'll ever get used it as a commercial, but I'll try

Sorry.
