Between the Lines CHIP BOWL!!!

Just when I thought I'd seen everything...on Ebay there is a chip bowl listed for auction that is made out of the "Between the Lines" vinyl album! This is even weirder than the purse made out of the "Stars" Lp cover!

When I was in high school we used to bake old unwanted LPs just because we could. We were the original nerds I think.

My wife once took a scratched beyond use LP and set it on top of a
bundt cake pan, placing both in the oven at a low temp. The
results look very similar to that Between The Lines chip bowl.

I can recall doing this in junior high school. However, we generally used our parents' Ray Conniff and Percy Faith records, or things like "John Popovich's Polka Magic". I don't recall anyone ever complaining. I believe my grandmother still has a similar bowl made out of "The Magic Organ" which was the result of a Boy Scout project. She thinks it's lovely....at least when I'm around.

Hey, while we've got the bus out, let's swing by Kathleen's place. I hear she's got lots of LPs to make chip bowls out of.
