I was lucky enough to be in the audience every night for about a week for a Kath of the Guitar performance. I did get some video of it, but there is no way Kath would allow it to go on YouTube (even if I KNEW how to do it). If I did know how to do it, I would probably defy her and bung it on. Her compositions played "on the other side of the neck" are awesome.

I rather wish Kath would put some of her material out on YouTube or the like....she should not hide that incredible light under a bushel.

Hey Guys,
That's my little brother, Andy,,I taught him everything he knows!
Seriously though, he's an excellent player.... seems like everyone is doing it now. I am, at the moment, putting together a website that will have all of my music and art...but it's not easy, at least not for me! The computer is the thing I love to HATE! Wish they were around when I was a kid. Now I have to rely on other people for that. But when It's up, I'll let you know.
Thanks for the complement although, I must say, if Janis wasn't introduced to me as a child, I know I would have never gotten this far..and to play for her (a dream come true!) and to think I almost didn't, I was told I had no choice...just do it! Thank GOD I did, I would've hated myself for the rest of my life for not "just doin' it"!!!!

Lucille-Wendy...It was all MY PLEASURE ;)
Rickster - {{HUGS}} thanks for thinking of me
Dave...bushel??????? you got splain' to do..
Dave are you doing it again????ROFLMAO :p

As Kath's sister, I can assure you, she was kidding about him being her brother (as am I, sort of). Of course, I taught Kath all she knows.

being her brother (as am I, sort of).

Hey Leslie, now you really have me confused. You are her sister, and then you say that. (I know what you mean, but I'm not sure that our friends in Holland will understand. What with you having a Manniversary and I'm still trying to figure that one out, now you are her sister and her brother.

I think you are still under the anaesthetic a teeny bit. :D

By the way how is your other brother Ket Mo?

Shades of "This is my brother Daryl, and this is my other brother Daryl".

Miss ya Les. :p

that other brother is "Git Mo" to you. Keb Mo is our cousin. Since you know my man, you should have no problem of my having a manniversary. And to all non-US boarders (and US boarders - not to be confused w/ borders) I'm sorry for all the confusion, but it says in my contract that I'm responsible for that form of levity! :D Please take everything I say seriously!

Kath, she doesn't eat icecream - remember? I think she said it was because of the cruelty to the turkeys.:D Nah, she has an anaesthetic hangover for sure.

<<Nah, she has an anaesthetic hangover for sure>>

Today I'm wishing that I did - the weather's killing me. The real problem w/ those turkeys is getting them to give up the mash that makes them wild!!! :D

and you guys forgot the other cousin - Even Mo! you know this could go on forever!!!!

PS Wendy keep it up you may lose the title of Auntie to my child!

Well - hummfff. Did I get photos as she was growing up - no, and the only photos I have are the ones I took myself. The avatar is just not good enough. I want photos, and I want them NOW. :D

Dave/Eva there is a rumour that turkeys are milked to get the Turkey Hill icecream. We (us twisted mind folk) figured that they would have little wee teats which would have to be milked ever so gently.

Talk about going off the original thread!

I am most definitely NOT laying my hands on any turkeys, apart from the free range bird that was the center of the Thanksgiving feast. And for which, after watching assorted wild turkeys peck at the tires on my car just before I hit the road the other day, I have no sympathy at all.

When my family moved to a rural area in 1977 my parents were given a bunch of books on "homesteading", one of which mentioned the pros and cons of various small farm livestock. Under Turkeys there was one word: "DON'T". Those of you who have never met a turkey face to face rest assured, this cannot possibly be overstated. Those of you who have turkeys....you have my sympathy.

Hey, TWISTED SISTA,(At the risk of spoiling the fun) Why does turkey hill have a cow running across the page??? The things that go on around your neighborhood???
C`mon! Dave,you can do it.

Hey Wendy, now's your chance...all that walking you did....and you're about to lose your title??? I'll hold her down (you shove in the ice cream) that'll get her. Pat, you run for the HILLS!
What did you say Leslie, you want MO. :p

are just too warped for me. Wendy what can I say, you just take the best kid pics. Note how grainy the avatar is! Dave you have my sympathy as well. We have many huge flocks of the stupid things around here and they are just too dumb to live. They are forever stopping traffic - like there's a contest between a turkey and a car! I was amazed coming back from Thanksgiving dinner at my parents to note that there were still tons of turkeys in residence at the turkey farm by the highway. Ya gotta wonder how that happened in November?

Kath, you're just plain evil.
