Some days ago I revisited the website of the British songwriter duo Chris While and Julie Matthews and found some news:

A live album of the concert I heard in January and Chris has a new solo album and another new one recorded wirh her daughter Kelly.

I'm sure all three albums are great stuff!

Have a look on their website! Here is the link: http://www.whileandmatthews.co.uk/index.html

Enjoy!

Thanks for the news Mimi. Saw them at the Lowry in Salford a couple of months ago and they were stunning as always.

Going to order the live CD now. :)

Dylan, I've ordered the live CD three days ago and Rosella Red as well. Can't wait to listen...

... and I've been listening to "The Best of W&M" and "Daphne's Flight" the last days and must say: Simply great!

Just noticed they're at The Hillbark Flok Club next saturday, which is quite close. Hoe they have tickets left.

Lucky You! Their next gig in Gemany is much too far from here and not even a weekend. Just can't make it...:(

Hope you get a ticket and wish you lots of JOY!

Dylan,
as far as I know Christine Collister and Helen Watson who have performed and recorded with Chris and Julie many times have recorded solo albums, too. Do you know any of them? Do have any recommendations for me?

Hi. Christine is a friend of mine. I run her myspace which is at

www.myspace.com/collistertalk

and you can find a link to Helen's page there too. Christin's music is fairly easy to find but you'll need to do more searching for Helen's.

A good place to start with Christine's music is her Songbird CD. Here's a link:

And here's a link to all of Christine's majour solo releases:

Wonderful, Dylan! Thanks for the link! I love Daphne's Flight!

By the way, this is the third version of "Boulder to Birmingham" I've heard and I like it best - more than Emmylou's and Joan Baez'... but that's just my humble opinion.

I got my copy yesterday too. Is that you I can hear singing the chorus on Westward? ;)

It sounds like you all had a great night.
