I figured that we might get organized everything this week and then go to Nashville together and invite ourselves into Janis place at the 17th :D

So there are some points of concern ..
- were is the Rudie bus and is it safe to get it on the road again
- who has the keys of the bus and who can drive the damn thing
- is there a routing available to pick everyone up who wants to be part of
this "janis is away" event
- as it will be a "american party" what will you bring with you thinking about
drinks and food (this will be the one and only opportunity to turn this topic
into a food thread :p )
- is there someone "geek" enough to film the whole event and place it
on YouTube?

If I did forget something please let us know .. what, why, whatever :eek:

oh heck yeah, we'll get there! just put a sign up in front of you house so i know where to stop. the bus is fit as a fiddle, sister rose is just trying out some new options i've been working on since last summer. she has to try the toys, i mean revisions before we set sail. I know denise will drive, and of course sister rose and i are on the job day and night... one more thing, the bus doesn;t have to be "road ready" to run, it just has to be mobile

It's funny to watch although I do feel rather sorry for the kittens.... She did it all the time with Wee One's first litter... Peep has never recovered from that and he's 5 years old now.... :D and Misty and Peep are the best of friends.... :D

not to worry rudies, that huge mess was cleaned up in plenty of time for Janis and Pat to arrive home. and as soon as they start their vacation, we're in again...by the way, the dogs know we were there and they want food left behind next time

Horse?? what horse?? I didn't see one, aren't you mixed up with the waterdogs?? Because they were easy to please, just put a toy in the swimmingpool and you don't have a dog about them

davem!!! you didn;t tell us about the horse!! i looked in the garage but i didn;t see anything. now there is probably a horse in the pool. and where there is a horse there is horse poop...i have to think about something else for a while. davem...i could have taken care of this had i known...shooooot. maybe they won;t look in the pool (fingers crossed)

Oh my look what I've MISSED!!!!!!
I have been "absent of late" ..... and I MISS everyone! I'm sorry I failed you as the Rudie bus driver this time around...sigh....
Actually, I'm working TWO jobs...my regular school bus route and working at TOYS R US for the Christmas season! I started about a week before Thanksgiving and will be there till after Christmas. I am totally exhausted coz I've NEVER done this before. It's fun working there but jeez...working every single day?!
Sooooooooo when the season ends, if all of you will let me, I would like to hop aboard and relieve hoops and sister rose, if so needed. But before I get in the drivers' seat, I will need a great big glass of Christmas cheer!

leslie thanks for the advice. when i was growing up, there was occasion where one of the youngest who was an infant would somehow get them past the diaper so i am skilled in the area of pool pooper fishing. thank god for chlorine!
the horse is out of the pool and hiding in the neighbor's yard...if they find it, no one will know how it got there and the mystery will go unsolved and the horse will find his, yes it is a he, way to a nice new home.
davem, last year they didn't eat the horse, that was just a drunken ramble from some over rummed pirates. turns out the horse got away while they tied a cord around the neighbor's dog...they were quickly caught and released back into sister rose's custody. she has pull like that. anyway, all it back to normal ( except that stain, i hope they don;t decide to move around the furniture ) and all is well
