I sang with the Temptations!!!

Aside from winning $900.00, Jo Ellen and I saw the "Coasters" the "Platters" and the "Temptations" on Saturday night at the Sahara in Las Vegas. An actual member, Damon Harris, who followed right after Eddie Kendricks in 1972came into the audience, doing his lead on "Just My Imagination". He noticed that I was singing along, as many of us were, and he put the mircophone towards me and I sang the part that goes..."but in reality, she doesn't even know me"... People actually clapped and cheered..but then my row started laughing, and I wasn't sure why. I found out later that Jo Ellen had blurted out "Not bad for a white girl". Now she's going around telling everyone that I sang with one of the last members of the temptations! It was a great weekend!

I just watched 'The Temptations' this afternoon on the "Kurt Browning's Gotta Skate" show and I've got to say they may be a little long in the tooth but they've still got it. They appeared along with (but not at the same time) 'Boys To Men'. ALL were great.
