A few days ago, I checked my email inbox in my regular account and found a very interesting email....This could actually mean I'm alot of money better off, and I have just had another email from them saying it's all being processed :) At best I'll never need to worry about money again....at worst I've lost nothing.. I'll keep you posted :D

During the 1980s, my father had a client who wanted to amend his will and rearrange all of his finances because, he said, he was about to receive quite a lot of money. My father asked how much and he replied "10 million dollars".

Asked if it was an inheritance or something of the sort, the guy replied "no, but I got a letter in the mail that told me all about it. I just want to make sure everything is in order before the check arrives".

And with that, he pulled out the familiar manila envelope with Ed McMahon's picture on it and "You may already have won $10 Million" boldly printed below.

Dave, not quite the same thing. I already filled in 3 forms.... One claim form and 2 bank forms. At no time has my bank account number been asked for and I don't expect it to be now. I'm still on the look-out for any hidden pitfalls before the money is mine though. If you want to see the emails, I'll PM them to you

Sounds as if you just might have hit the real think, Annabel--if so, more power to you! I wasn't attempting to make a comparison.

Good luck. I do hope you get the money before the holiday sale starts!

Not with the bill for £978 I haven't ....(for administration charges) I told them where they could stick it. (Not repeatable here :p ) A real lottery win wouldn't have those sort of charges. Sorry for wasting everybody's time, folks :o

And yes, I found the hidden catch, and yes it WAS INDEED..... TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

Lesson learned and no love (or money) lost

Ah....one of those. I've actually had a couple via snail mail and they look quite official until you read very closely....

May they be the targets of baseball pitchers with an endless supply of Spam (tins optional)!

I was thinking more of tinned tomatoes :p I won't bore you with the reasons, but I always thought tinned tomatoes hurt more on impact..... :D I reported 2 more as spam today. I'm on a 'let's clean up my emails' week :p

And yesterday they had the nerve to send me a disclaimer form :( They're not getting a PENNY of my money, disclaimer or no disclaimer.

I think tinned tomatoes might be too mild for these people. Bricks, however, might serve nicely. Especially if thrown with a bit of backspin.
