There's no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going
There's no knowing where we're rowing
Or which way the river's flowing

Is it raining, is it snowing
Is a hurricane a-blowing

Not a speck of light is showing
So the danger must be growing
While the fires of hell are glowing
Is the grisly reaper mowing

Yes, the danger must be growing
For the rowers keep on rowing
And they're certainly not showing
Any signs that they are slowing

Arrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

:D

Happy Halloween to all of you!
Got a card today also.....How do we know pumpkins are male?
Their heads are empty,
They have mush for brains,
and after a few days, they start to smell funny.

Love the cards Andrea and Dee :D
Enjoy the nite {HUGS}

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, oh how I love that movie with Gene Wilder and when he says

There's no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going...........

Man that was so, I can't even think of a word that describes the feeling you get during that part of the movie.

Happy Halloween!!!!

For some reason I couldn't help but be reminded of this:

There are a couple versions of this that have better video quality, but have been "snipped" in various places. This guy deserves to be experience in all his glory.

What time is a good time to stop giving out candy?

I never started Andrea! I think it had something to do with the razor wire. Oh, of course I had to unlock the gate when my grandaughter came. She wanted to know "Grandma! Why do you have all that razor wire outside"? And I said "So I could keep all the candy for you my dear" and she said "yea, that's my grandma".

Happy Halloween!!!!

I actually should still be giving out candy....we had rotten weather and only a couple dozen kids showed up. Early in October, I got two big bags of "Child's Play" candy (basically Tootsie Rolls and related items--3.5 pounds of them) for $5. Thought I had everything covered. Then K-Mart put out an online coupon for a free bag of Halloween candy--good stuff, like pretty much everything Hershey sells. Limit one per visit, so I made a couple of visits per day and now have a dining room table covered with Halloween candy (something like 20 bags of it). What to do, what to do....

DaveM if that's really an issue I could take it off your hands...

:D

I thought about trick or treating, since one person did manage to say I looked like a twelve year old, that day, but I decided I'd hide in my room, instead. I didn't have to worry about giving out candy, either, being in a dorm.
