Hey there,
I wonder if I can ask your opinions of this poem.
Close friends don't always tell you what they really think.
I saw the movie Grizzly Man and this is what I came away with.

Off The Map

He wants to be one with grizzlies,
shudders in his own skin,
sees only a blur in the mirror.

He sculps the distortion,
slices off pieces like Van Gogh's ear,
offers them to the wilds.

There are many remote places.
This man knows them all.
There is nothing left to explore now
except the mirror.

Seeing so much of the image cut away,
he smashes the glass,
feeds the carcass to the bears.
