I'm sure every show's audience participation is different, but we used to yell at the screen, "damn it, Janet, I wanna' screw".:o

I've seen the film in several theaters in several towns, and was always surprized how much the responses were the same, give or take some commentary tied into local stuff. The last time I saw RHPS in public was at the Civic theater here in Ft. Wayne. I really embarrased myself shouting some of the usual responses. I suspect there were waaaaay to many virgins in that crowd. I did, however, share a time warp dance in the parking lot with some costumed people. Don't know if they were performers or audience members, but we all had fun.

Never made it to a theater to see the movie. (Might have lowered my 78% pure rating. Hey, you only live once. Maybe it was the Catholic school inlluence.) Have the DVD though - just realized that I haven't watched it recently enough. Going to do that now. :D
Mom wouldn't have taken me there - she probably would have tried to get the theater closed.

That's funny, Bill. I remember going to the film in costume, during the Halloween season, with my cousin Barb. Our mothers (who are sisters) were both there when we left for the theater, and offered to let us rot in jail if we got picked up for soliciting. I think they were serious, although I'm not sure who in the world they thought would be willing to pay for the likes of us. And I'm still not sure why she thought we looked like hookers - we thought we looked like transylvanians! I've got to find that photo...
Oh, such fun we had.
