hello all,
yes i was thinking about Rudie vibes... it seems in the last couple years all of us have come on some sort of hard times, not just the normal every day bad day, but seriously rough situations, illnesses, financial problems, lost jobs, death of loved ones... serious things. when i look back over it all, Rudie vibes have been there for us in every single case... our other members of our rudie family have been there for us every single time. to me, it's simply miraculous! Sending rudie vibes, good thoughts and prayers to all of my rudie family... i wish you

You're so right, Noel, it IS kind of a miracle. I've been a member of this board for a year now. And what I feel is, that I have found kind of a family here, I'm thinking and worrying about people - most of you I've never met, but I do worry and feel with them, share their sorrows. Yes, and some of you I proudly call my friends. Thank you ALL!

Hoops, you are so correct! What a GOOD group of people. I had spinal surgery 8 days ago and I am now walking with a cane instead of a walker. I am amazed at my progress, and I know a lot of it has to do with the love and prayer coming from you amazing people.

Noel, being there for each other is just so good. Knowing there are people all around the world who know about you, are there for you and who care for you is all it sometimes takes to get better, feel happier, and to keep on trying to overcome any difficulty you may have. I've been helped too :) And if all it takes is one little post to reassure anyone in that way then making that extra little effort sounds good to me.... I'm here for you as well

Ok, ok, ok... Yes Rudies are very special people for the most part with myself being the exception... I take great pride in being the evil rudie... Hell bent on blamin' CERTAIN people from Pittsburgh... But knowing as many of you as I do has added greatly to my life... Still lets not be including me in any of the nice thoughts about Rudies.... I'm pure nasty and take great pride in it!!!!! So take that!!!!!

I've been through terrible times when my Rudie friends were all there for me, on one occasion a certain US rudie phoned me from work all the way over in the States to check I was ok, another UK rudie was a star when I was in my worst moments, and a certain Canadian rudie has always been there with a smile.

and when I met Janis in the kitchen at the UK LRC in April 06, she said "David UK, how's your accommodation situation?" OK I'd posted a fair bit about it in the previous year, but I didn't imagine the lady would remember:p

and then there are my Dutch rudie friends who welcomed me into their homes, cooked for me etc etc...

it should come as no surprise how great rudieland is when we have such a great role model.:)

I've also seen (and experienced) the beneficial effects of prayer before. Scientists scoff, but I believe in it.
