Thanks for that link, Randy! I love all things Peeps! All last week I dined on a box of pumpkin Peeps that had become properly stale!

Oooohhh....my fillings are lighting up in anticipation. Mind, I already got into a bag of fruit flavored Tootsie Rolls.....and there's a sale on Swedish Fish.
By the way--do stroopwafeln have maple flavoring in them? A local bakery store is selling "Italian waffle cookies" that look suspiciously like stroopwafeln. I just can't remember any maple flavoring. And being packaged, processed thingies they don't look nearly as gooey and sticky as the real thing.

Darwoods if I think of it we will get some in early January and bring them to the concert in Virginia... We gave Janis some last year in Chicago... LOL I'm not sure what she thought but I was in fear for my life... We live just a couple miles from "Justborn"...

Candy corn is great stuff. For some reason I don't enjoy the little pumpkins, etc. that are made out of the same stuff. Could be that to get the flavor just right, you need the right amount of wax coating.
I prefer candy corn myself!
I prefer corn CHIPS.
I'm really not much for sweets, although I do appreciate a nice box of good chocolates at Christmas. ;)

I for one do little to discourage the little tykes from coming on the property at Halloween other then releasing the hounds and using electrified razor wire... A few years ago the local police told me claymore mines and napalm might be going just a bit over the edge ;)

Randy I didn't get a ticket to the concert in Virgina. Sniff, Sniff! I missed the thread and it was too late. I am sad!!! :( I do wish I could go. I even have transportation but no one to go with me. But I would have made the trip by myself. :(
But I like the way you think about the kids at Halloween. The kids I know I give them their candy ahead of time except my granddaughter and I have to see her in her costume. She is just way too cute!!!!

There is a lot the police doesnīt like.......I still remember those hazy, lazy days of my "Peeping Tom Years". Sigh, how was I to know the lady sneaking up on me was undercover.

five freakin years!!! geezzzzzzzzze. that sucks
as for kiddies on halloween, i love em, all of em. i can't wait to go shopping tomorrow to get bags and bags of assorted goodies...mostly chocolate of course. i live in a largely populated area for the first time in my life and i can't wait to be overwhelmed!!! i can't afford decorations this year so i'll just have to put a big light in front of my door cause my apartment is on the side of the house. i don';t want em to think i'm not home. then at about 7:30, when curfew goes in effect here, i will go to my sisters cause curfew is at 8:30 and i can't wait to see her cute kids wide eyed with excitement and sugar. the two year old is gonna be a chicken!!! how cute is that!! and I, well my sister came up with my costume this year, the best one ever ever ever...I'm going to be an infected esophogus!!! i'm laughing just thinking about it... hee hee. I can;t wait!!!

Well, it ain't dead yet, Dave. Watch the theater ads, especially around Halloween - you may just have the opportunity to lose your virginity yet.
I'll look for that old photo, Godsistah, and post it if I can.

Perhaps the university theater in Duluth will show it again one of these days. I know they ran it for two weeks a few years ago but I missed out. Apparently the theatrical management were virgins at the time, as they don't seem to have known quite what to expect. By the end of the run, they were practically frisking anyone who showed up in costume, but the toast and squirtguns still made it in. Wish I could have been there.
