You'll be all wondering what I'm on about now...... well, on Sunday, before my Quarter Peal, I went shopping, so that I wouldn't have to do that afterwards. My jar of pickle had already leaked into my shopping bag and all over my trousers, and I was stinking of the stuff. All I wanted to do was get home, change and have a shower, and this I managed to do once Simba had stopped barking. Anyway, shower finished, I aimed the dirty clothes at the washing machine from 50 paces and forgot to check the pockets!....

After the wash had finished I pulled out coins, pens and...... ....my headphones! It turned out that this cheap set of headphones is the best I've ever had because........:D ......... they still work  I thoroughly recommend ASDA's cheap headphones as the headphones of choice when on the move because nothing short of a pair of scissors can destroy them!!!!! :D

Best to you

Annabel, no one believes me that last year I washed my wonderful mp3-player, a Samsung YP U-1, together with my bike tricots, and it survived this harsh treatment... after two days of rest (of drying...)

... whereas years ago my Sony Walkman died of a cup of camomile tea poured over it...

My other misdemeanours to date are:- washing my memory card reader complete with memory card... that worked afterwards too.... chucking various mobile phones/personal organisers down certain...um... facilities (none of them worked afterwards) and rescuing a mobile phone from a cup of coffee!!!! The latter of which worked for a good year after it was rescued :D It's probably true to say that water and electronic gadgets just don't mix
