Hi, I'm new...

Hello,
I feel silly for getting on and asking about this but I attended Janis's first concert this year. It was the first time I heard her and I laughed and I cried and I was so just so happy to be there... Anyway, somebody took my picture with her and told me they would email it to me. It was someone who went to a lot of her concerts. Janis knew her by name (I can't remember it, SORRY!) and she mentioned this forum to me... Anyway, I never got the picture and I'm sure she lost my email address so I figured I'd get on and let her know I was still around in case she hadn't deleted the picture yet. I'm really sorry I waited so long, you know how busy life is and all... Anyway, just in case you remember the girl in Kentucky who drove down from Ohio to see Janis my email is MeSeah@hotmail.com And BTW as a side note to Janis, you are Awesome! I am an ex-pentecostal and the song about laying down just speaks to me on so many levels I can't even express it on this forum. I just weep every time I hear it. It has inspired several life changes that have been coming for several years.

I know that Marcia (Marciadrummergal) and her partner Bat live in Ohio and traveled to some concerts recently. I even think I remember Marcia mentioning taking pictures of a possible new Rudie. Of course this could just be my own hallucinations, but maybe not. No worries, I'm sure the guilty ;)

We're all a bit cracked, but endearingly so. There have been a few bad eggs over the years, but I think Janis has them shipped to Britney Spears' house.

Check out the "FINB 2006 Tour" by Chet...the group photo that I took is under Marcia's Photos...it was in Kentucy, and there were several wonderful new potential rudies in it...maybe that is what you are looking for. I had a great time in Louisville and met the nicest bunch at that concert! Are you in that group shot? If so, Which one are you?

Or are you referring to a picture taken of you and Janis, with no one else in it?

Hi MeSeah! If you also drove down from Cincinnati, then I remember meeting you briefly. Alas, I don't *think* you were in the group photo but I could be wrong. See Chet's posting for the link. It's the only photo we took of some folks we didn't know. I think they were all Louisville people though.

:eek: You guys are on the ball. Not only do I think EVERYONE responded but Terri (the one who took the picture) called me promptly to get my address to mail the picture to me. It hasn't arrived yet but I'm SURE it will. Terri's computer has been down and she hasn't been able to get onto the forum since it was redone. She and I had a long chat. I really enjoyed talking to her. If the rest of you are half as nice as Terri is then I will enjoy being in this forum. :D I don't have a lot of time since I'm a single mother who works full time and goes to school full time but I will pop in here and there if you don't mind me doing that. I really appreciate all the caring responses and I'm excited about getting to know all of you. :p
