Janis in the Max & Catherine show

Janis sang 'Joy' and she was (as ever!) wonderful. After that Catherine gave Janis a tin (printed with Dutch Delft Blue design) of stroopwafels as a small present. So many stroopwafels, so little time... :D

For Jenny: Janis wore 'the boots', jeans (haven't seen if they were the embroided ones) and a black blouse.

Janis, I saw the guest of the day was Dutch actrice Renee Soutendijk. A good actrice and she seems like a nice and strong person. Did you both have a chance to meet before or after the show? Have you ever met before?

And she will be on Dutch radio on May 1st. Didn't get the time (thought they said from 14:00 till 16:00 - Eva, help me out?), it will be on Radio 4. :)

I am not sure about the time either... :eek: Radio 4 is right. May first also. I'll check the exact time out and let you know.

Thanks to Rika, I was at Max and Catherine en spoke to Janis after the show. Thanks Janis for the great song en the big hug. :)

It was 1:00 at night-Monday/Tuesday- when a wrote a "motivated"mail to Max and Catherine and asked (unless they wrote on there site it was complete full) if there was place enough for just three persoons. And if so, if it was possible to phone me, becouse i - must say my crew- have to arrange so much for me if i want a day of. Next morning at 9.15, my celphone: "This is Max and Catherine, and we read your mail and we have place for you, we mail you the papers and how to drive to us!" I was so glad!!!! So inmiddiatly tried to phone Corita, she was not there! Then put a message on her voice mail and send her a sms:Please listen to you voice mail!! Now i had to inform my crew, they started to switch pupils and instructeurs, and they almost paniced! But they DID IT!! One hour later Corita send me a massage and she was so happy and asked:" how could we this......and how that.......and...."
Wednesday my partner and i left home at 13:00 our, we had to drive 1:15 to the RCA in Amsterdam where Corita is and ofcourse we had a traffic jam and that took us 30 minutes. We drank some coffe at Corita's and left Amsterdam , we only had to drive 30 minutes to Hilversum. Now we had a real traffic jam, we drove to Hilversum in 1:15 minutes. Just in time we arrived! Put Corrita's wheelchair together and- almost- run to the studio.
Pfff we were in time. The crew of Max and Catherine gave us some coffee.
After the coffee, we could go to the studio. Maaaaaaaaaaaaannnnn it was so small and to handle the wheelchair was not easy. So Corita walked some meters to one of the chairs. It was so small and old every where, on TV you cann't see that. Just 10 or 15 other people were there too. During the interview, my partner pushed me ....and there was Janis, she went in a room just next to the studio. Almost at the end Janis came to sing Joy, what a beautiful guitar and those boots! And after the song she went to that room again. After the show, we asked a lady if it was possible to see Janis,"Please tell her that Corrita is here" She did it and Janis came to us. I think it was a surprise for Janis to see Corita, they huged and talked, we shaked hands and talked. Then she had to go away. Outside while we were stuggling with Corita's wheelchair, we saw Janis and here crew to go to there car. We drove to Amsterdam had some dinner at Corrita's and went to our place, we were home at 21:45. It was such a beautifull, long day!!! But i did win the bet!
