After months of writing application letters, collecting rejections and first (and even second) job interviews, I've FINALLY found a job today :) And I LOVE IT! I'm going to have SO much fun!!! I've had two interviews with 5 people and I actually liked all five of them  This is soooooooo cool! (Sorry, I'm kind of bouncing :D:D)

Sounds good, Agnes! What kind of job is it? And where?

I'm going to be a junior researcher, like I am now, but at three different projects. One on client satisfaction, one on OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and one on anxiety disorders. And I'm going to work in Deventer and Almelo  So I'll have to consider moving...

So that means lots of change! Good luck to you!

We could use some help with that second one around here I think. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k267/deemark/Emoticons/laughing.jpg

Congratulations on getting the job Agnes!

I'm starting a new job as well, on Monday. It's more $ and less work, and it heads me back in the direction I was going 3 years ago when my last job ended in layoff due to a merger. The only slight bummer is that I'll be training for about 4 weeks in Chicago, however I love Chicago. Diver Boy, I wish I could go to Boston with you and Lexa.:( Have fun!
Oh, and congratulations, Agnes!:D

Thank you, one and all. Oak, I've been a salesman/rep in the building products industry for 10 years, and my favorite gig was with Porter Cable/Delta power tools. Someone in your neck of the woods, Black and Decker, bought us out at the end of '04. Unfortunately, they didn't even use consultants to evaluate their new talent, they just eliminated all of us to achieve a higher stock number for the quarter. Typical right? My current job was more for security in these troubling times, but fortunately good old networking paid off and I've jumped back in time to an even better job than PC/Delta. At least for now, all is right in the universe.:D
