There are still just over 100 seats left for the Queen Elizabeth Hall next Tuesday, 2 May. It would be a pity if there are any empty seats for this, which is probably the largest venue of the tour.
Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there.

I think it will be sold out too. I think a lot of people who attend the venues on the South Bank tend to get tickets for cevents there at the last minute. I know I have friends who do.

I know, I've done the same myself sometimes. Although I have to admit, with the singers I really like, I tend to buy the tickets immediately so that I can get the best seats I can.
The front stalls sold very quickly, but the back three rows of the rear stalls have been a bit sluggish.
Maybe the Ken Bruce programme will help - although they might all have gone by then!!
David ....... Lynda and I have seats in the rear stalls: Row CC seats 36 & 37
Is there a bar or somewhere we could meet up with you to say hello? We are not familiar with the South Bank Centre but have been told we can get a meal in a restaurant in the basement. We rarely go to London (last time was to see Janis at Bush Hall) so we will be making a day of it.
I can't see that Janis will be able to sign after the show as I believe the hall holds 1300. Perhaps we should wear our VIP badges and blag our way in at the stage door ;)

Good thinking, Rowy. Go for it!
We will be arriving at the South Bank Centre around noon so maybe we might "bump" into Janis to say hello before the concert. We have to get the train back to Lewes after the show so won't have much time then anyway.
;) :D :p :)
On the 1st January of this year, after a very disappointing New Year’s Eve, I decided that my New Year’s resolution would be to have more fun, go to more gigs, and treat myself for once to all the things I had been denying myself for so long. For some reason I did a search for Janis Ian and to my surprise I found out that she was coming to the UK! To cut a long story short, I trip involving people from Spain and Switzerland was organized around the concert.
Now, I never thought it would come to this, but due to a very unfortunate last minute problem I have 2 spare tickets to see her on Tuesday. As someone has already said I am sure it will be a sold out gig as it is the only one in London. I thought that these would be the best place to offer the tickets as I’d like them to go to some lucky fans, and I am sure they won’t find tickets like this available now, being as they are on the first row (will send details of exact location to those interested). Ah, I am just asking for face value plus booking fee, not looking to make a profit here.
If interested, please e-mail me as soon as possible, but please be patient as I probably won’t be able to see replies till tonight.
Cheers,
Mapi
