this is great! i hope we can continue with updates of the "tour de rudegirl". how does one sign up to have the rude girl visit them? i know that i have absolutely no idea, not that where i live is very interesting but, hey maybe i could spend some time in the psych ward with rude girl and meet interesting people. lolpeace

She has a few more stops to make on the other side of the pond (Anna in Dublin and Aabram), but once she gets back to me stateside, I will be sending her out again. I believe KarenSews, DaveM, Dar and Darwoods have also expressed an interest. I will add you to the list. We may run into 2008 before she's done, but that's OK.

Hey thanks for this Oak. I promise her a really good time, and I may even be able to find her some "Highland Dress" and other delectable goodies.
Although the last time I tried to send my son anywhere with a Haggis, they thought it was a bomb and this caused a huge amount of trouble for him!!!!! :D :rolleyes:

Funny....my brother had the same experience while attempting to bring a canned haggi home. Could it be that they have something there?

So many wonderful things for Rude Girl to see here....the World's Largest Hockey Stick, open pit mines, and an entire population which, on hearing Janis' name, tends to respond with "who?" We'll do some consciousness-shifting, bet on that. Perhaps have her weigh in on the current local scandal (there's always one). And there are around 35 bars in the immediate area--surely one must have some single malt.

Oh, has Rude Girl ever been to an AA meeting?

She won't have any trouble getting that, Mimi (AND "on the rocks") All she has to do is raid Mr Abram's supply :D ..... and at least we have PLENTY of ice :) but not before bellringing though as she'll have to be sober for that.... :eek:
