Missing Mark

My son Mark died almost three weeks ago, and I felt like I was frozen in time. It was such a sudden death. One minute he was here, the next he was gone. He was twenty-five years old and lived with us. We loved him dearly. We believe Mark's soul is in heaven. Nevertheless I feel awful. I miss you, Mark. You were my baby.

The sudden death of your son Mark must be quite a shock. Wish there were something I could say to ease your grief, but of course nothing can really do that. For a parent to lose a child must be one of the most painful things to experience.
