Hey everyone,

My birthdaypresent started yesterday when my parents came over and we ate Chinese together. They had brought me 40 red roses. I'm 38, but they were sold by the 10 or 20 and my mum didn't want to fuss over 2 flowers. :D

Today I also had a good day today. It was my first workday after my hollidays, and luckily I could take it easy today. We are in a 'new' office and everything is still clean, bright and organised, so it's nice to work there. My supervisor allowed me to leave early, so I could have a drink with a collegue / friend on a sunny terrace.

Yes, the sun was shining today. And you know how the world always looks more beautiful when the sun shines. :) I had bought three big pies so all my collegues could have a piece. They had putten colourful strings and balloons on my chair and desk. Lots of friends and familymembers called me to wish me a happy birthday. Even all the way from Greece.

In the evening my ex-boyfriend (the alcoholic) came over with all kinds of tasty stuff like icecream, custard, salads, fruit, etc. He knows I like nice food, so that was his present. We played scrabble, smoked pot and watched the snooker championship on t.v. Just like in the old days (about 15 years ago) when we were still together. It was a lovely evening.

The rest of my week will be busy. Most of them good things. Like let's say..., a Janis Ian concert...! ;)
