View Full Version : I'm home
Landed about 3½ hours ago. Tired but EXTREMELY fulfilled (happy + contented). Happy to see my family, too, altho the visit to mother (initially right on top of my "once I got home" to-do list) will have to wait till tomorrow as I got my arrival time mixed up and arrived a tad late to go and see her (without upsetting her routine). Spoke with my brother on the phone and then had dinner with my sister and her family.
Rowy - once again, thanks for helping me fulfill my dream of contributing to a Living Room Concert.
The "Dairy" inhabitants and their two daily guests - thanks for putting up with my nonsense.
And Janis? You were in top form both days (Sunday during the LRC and Monday at the Brighton show) and I'm glad I was there for both. Thanks, too, for signing wherever I asked you to sign. :p
Till next year ... (hopefully, somewhere in my part of the world).

Hi Chet, glad to see you got home safely!
And as one of the two daily guests of the Dairy inhabitants, it was a pleasure to meet you!

Good to see you on line again! The post count had suffered in your absence. ;)
And as for the Dairy... does that make us the bovine inhabitants?
Seriously, it was great that everyone mixed in together, we couldn't have done it all on our own.

Welcome home Chet!!!!!
I'd be amiss (or perhaps amister) not to mention that the board hasn't been the same with out you, still with each report by you and our other world traveling rudies us strictly national rudies got to grin, smile and laugh at your escapades... What a wonderfully international group we have.... A friend stopped over the other day and I was reading the message board concert and travel reviews and asked if I saw the news and I could only respond by saying no... I was reading important things instead... To you all... I'm so happy that you went, you saw and you enjoyed... and you did it all in a spirit of Mass sillys, love and friendship...... Janis, I marvel at the things you accomplish... I'd like to say with a simple song and visit you bring such joy to so many... but we all know, in all reality it's not so simple or easy... But thank you.... Safe travels to you and the crew Janis.....
Thank you UK Rudies for guarding our visiting rudies while in your midst.... Marjan, Song and last but certainly not least Chet.... Welcome home dear friends....
Best wishes, prayers, laughs, grins and smiles to you all
R from Pa...

Chet - happy to hear that you are back home but most of all, to know that it was such a wonderful trip for you, and for all the others that shared that experience together! It was so cool to read everyone's postings during the trip!
You have some awesome memories, I'm sure!
Welcome Back! :)

It's all making the world smaller and friendships bigger. Janis, the internet and all that stuff:)
love henry
Glad you arrived home safely and welcome back to the board. It really doesn't seem a week ago that we were all together with Janis :D
Thanks, everyone, for the welcome home.
Rowy - this is one trip I won't have to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. All the pictures are proof we were together that particular weekend in Lewes, England. And with Janis, too!

I'm home. The trip was certainly worth it (though I come back and the 'r' key on my computer doesn't want to work).
Welcome home Chet! Er... glad you're home. I am too. It was heck getting there, though, but that's a story for another time.
