This coming Tuesday, the 19th, is my last day at work. I fly back to Ohio with the cat on Wednesday, return to Washington on Friday with Adam. We'll take the weekend to get ready and then we head out, driving across the country.

It'll be an odd route so that we don't hit too much repetitive scenery and we're actually aiming for Yellowstone, then back up to visit my cousins in North Dakota, down to Wisconsin to visit a friend there, and back into central Ohio.

All this just to say I won't be posting much until I get all settled in. And then there's the job search (which, by the way, is one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to do--the Catch 22 that I must have required experience to get a job but must have had a job to get experience is really annoying.)

Well, my best to all of you while I'm sans internet access. :D

Could you scout out North Dakota a bit for safe locations for the clueless people? There's so much space in North Dakota, but right now a fair amount is serving a useful purpose.

Good luck on your trip Rkitko! And I hope you find a job that will let you gain that experience that you need to get a job because you have experience! Confused? I am!
Peace, Darlene

All the very best for your venture, Rkitko. I hope you get something soon. Confusion is something I know alot about, and getting the job to get the experience to..... um.....get the job is ALSO a tricky situation. Hope to see you back here soon :)

Have a fun trip! I will be backtracking your route in a couple weeks on my way out to Northern CA...have friends in MN, and some at the Ellsworth AFB in S.D, near Rapid City, and will stay with them over the Fourth...then on to Yellowstone, Oregon, and finally to my workshop in Arcata, amongst the redwoods...I can't wait! (Now, if I can only understand how to keep the record on my little Garmin Legend GPS...)
