Baby Boomer surfs!!!!!!!!!!

Its never to late. I learned to surf last week in Hawaii, it was so much fun. But it wore me out. I wish I had a different body, but I'm thankful for what I am able to do. Just had to share. :)

good for you for trying something new! You actually managed to balance on that thing? How many tries did it take? It looks like such fun I may have to try it next time I'm near surfable water.

I had a good instructor. They go out into the water with you and actually push you into the wave. The Hawaiian way of surfing is so much easier because you get up on both knees and then get up on one foot and then the other. I got up five times. It really wore me out. I really enjoyed the ride. They give you a long board to start on because it is easier to get up.
