Ozzy Osborne(sp) was extremely prophetic back in '70 now wasn't he?

Great Paul, That was a great peace of footage. Now what are we going to do about it? Are we going to try to vote someone in who will change things right away. Do we sit back and watch? Do we sit back and talk about it and do nothing? When you figure it out let me know and I'm in.
Peace, Darlene

That's classic, hard, acid rock from one of the premiere acid rock bands all time, Black Sabbath. Just because one doesn't happen to prefer or enjoy that music doesn't mean it "sucks". I'd suggest that if one doesn't happen to prefer hard acid rock that they turn the sound off and watch the video. I happen to think it fits perfectly with the subject at hand just as it did before with the Vietnam war. Both of those armed conflicts "suck". They sucked then and they suck now. 'Nuff said about that.

I don't think anyone -can- "change things right away". We're dug in so deep now that I don't think anything can be done "right away". I'd suggest that the first order of business is to impeach and remove from office the two head executives with Cheney first and Bu$h second. Get Cheney first so that he can't assume office in place of Bu$h,... which would be far worse in my opinion.

I agree Sabbath doesn't suck but I don't blame Dee for expressing his opinion. Also, I feel it's songs like "War Pigs" that prove that Ozzy wasn't always a driveling wash-out, whether you like the music or not. The words are great, and much more direct than many protest songs of the 60's and
70's, without needing to camouflauge the words, their in your face. Dylan's "Masters of War" and many Dead Kennedy's tunes come to mind for their blunt delivery. Also, the fearful riff's in this tune could only be made to describe war and express fear, madness, and rage. I love the "pawns in chess" reference, and the feeling that the men who start these wars should fight them. Just my two cents, as I love MANY kinds of music, and although I don't expect everyone to embrace everything, I think you may be missing out on some interesting stuff based on first impressions.

Sorry the music offended your ears Dee. But I love Black Sabbath, that hard core, basic, acid rock, now that is music in it's rawest form. Black Sabbath is one of the first albums I got, and still have. Oh how I love that sound!
But not to worry, at the same time I got James Taylor's "Sweet Baby James" I still have that one too.
Peace, Darlene
This must be like a spin-off of that game show Deal or No Deal – Suck or No Suck?
The great thing about life is we’re not all the same. That would just be boring.

That is true Daniel. And being on this message board has taught me a lot of things about being quite when I have a controversial opinion. But me I do it anyway I am a trouble maker and proud of it. But isn't it great that we have such different ideas about so many subjects. And you are right about this one "Sucks or not Sucks" depending on the person  . LIFE IS NOT BORING! :D
Peace, Darlene
There's no controversy here for me, just differing opinions. That's life. Like the big sign on the front door says:
The Zoo: The rough bar down the street from the coffee house. The only things prohibited are solicitiation, and discussion of beastiality or pedophilia. Unmoderated. Don't come crying to us if your feelings get hurt. We warned you.
