But only in cash, it dosen't count the cost of the blood we lost! It's sad isn't it.:(

Well, it could buy a lot of available health care for US citizens for starters. Food for the hungry, shelter for homeless people, just to mention a couple of more.

More than sad Darlene, it's a crime against humanity.

This was all a total waste of money. He could have got aid to those in New Orleans so much more quickly.... We could be getting a DECENT wage.... Instead... what do we spend it on??? Something that might not have been there. I was watching a dramatisation of the Iraq regime last night. It was very well portrayed, and yes while there was some corruption, no more than other governments.....

We are seeing "the cost of war" once again in the inability of several states to respond properly to major storms that have cost a number of lives and run up an incalculable property damage bill. Unfortunately, their National Guard units, who are specifically trained and equipped to deal with such things on the "home front", have been shipped off to Iraq. In a sense, the Iraq war may well be costing lives right here in the United States now.

Could "the terrorists" have caused more problems for the U.S. if they had deliberately set out to do so? I honestly don't think so. Not to mention that we didn't go to war in raw to fight "the terrorists"--we supposedly went over there to put Saddam Hussein and his "weapons of mass destruction" out of business. What a great success that was.

OH yes....We did THAT alright.... People are still out there now, while people at home still don't enough to live on. Isn't this awful
