Should I not take my new computer out of the box?

I just purchased a new compaq computer with Vista. I haven't taken it out of the box yet. Should I take it back and get my money. What I have been reading on this site scares me. Help!

Darlene, I'd suggest returning to the store and seeing if its possible to get a new computer with Windows XP on it.

OK, But no Windows XP you take it the way it comes. And it was a tax free weekend so you also have to pay taxes on any thing else. Thanks Redjack, I will take it back tomorrow.

I'd say heck no. Take it out of the box, crank it up, and use it to the fullest extent that you can. OVERuse it. SERIOUSLY!
