I feel as if I have been dreaming since Friday... the Bonnie Raitt show was awesome... 3rd row center.. right smack dab in front of her... Once again no cameras were allowed... if you were caught taking pics Bonnie herself would stop the show.....so I only got one pic and that is of Bonnie and myself. I got a couple other shots of George (her quitar player) who also used to play for Bruce Hornesby... can't remember his last name at the moment... talked with him a bit and talked about old Bruce days... very nice guy. Also a pic of Jon Cleary who opened for Bonnie and played with her and the band all evening.. Boy was he a character...check out his website.. he played new orleans type music (piano).. he was a mess I tell ya...
Arrangements were made before hand to get my quitar signed... so when I got to meet Bonnie and get my pic taken with her I was able to personally thank her for making those arrangements..I was given my quitar back so no one could see .. they didn't want the others to find out because there was no signing during the meet and greet... pics only... She was very, very nice...but didn't dilly dally and kept things moving.. once you got your pic taken you were to exit.... It was all well worth the wait though. Having met Kathy Mattea and Bonnie Raitt was an experience I will treasure always...
As soon as I scan my pics I can post... however can someone help me post them... I never can seem to do that.... I am computer stupid....
thanks for listening friends... ;-)
